Last night, on VWE Primetime, Jeffrey Fireguard, after successfully defeating “The Devil” Kieran Darkwatch, was brutally attacked by the members of G.O.A.T. and the self-proclaimed “King of VWE”, the VWE World Heavyweight Champion, Braden Karsin. They surrounded the ring so that Jeffrey could not even try to escape. Before their attack, Fireguard struck first, knocking Braden off the ring apron with a quick dropkick, but this caused him to turn his back on the members of G.O.A.T.
As Jeff turned, he was struck by the VWE US Champion, Night with a spear, taking Jeff down with a quick ground and pound. Cody Houley, a man with a storied past with Fireguard, followed up, picking Jeff up and nailing him with a Codebreaker. Once Braden got back in the ring, he started directing traffic, having him join with Christina Krovac, Cody and Night all to deliver a simultaneous Bomaye. The four stomped on Jeffery Fireguad until they got bored and laughed, finally letting Jeff crawl out of the ring, coughing up blood.
Fireguard was immediately seen backstage by the VWE trainers, but seeing the blood, they called the local hospital for an ambulance and within minutes, Jeff was loaded up and taken to the emergency room. After a thorough examination, a chest x-ray and blood tests for possible infections, Fireguard was released with the diagnosis of a couple bruised ribs and turns out the blood he was spitting up was from a laceration within the mouth, a side-effect from Houley’s Codebreaker.
With this diagnosis, Fireguard has been placed on the injured list, but is only expected to miss a couple weeks of action, possibly a month depending on how his ribs are healing when he is re-examined. As always, VWE.CC will work tirelessly to keep you informed as more details become available.
